1957: Began schooling at a local public grade school.
1965: Began high school, public school in New Orleans. Also began self defense classes at a local dojo, training in jujutsu.
1969: Graduated high school, began junior college.
1972: After several years of off-and-on classes, he dropped out of college without a degree and upon discovering that he can detect super powers. He joined up with some bikers and set off to see the nation... and continent, spending some time in Mexico. One of the other bikers taught him spanish. Knowing he might be disliked if he revealed Powers, Peter kept his abilities secret. He took to calling himself CC and spent a dozen years just riding around the country, earning money when and where he could, usually doing odd jobs wherever people would hire him for cash money.
1984: After twelve years, he left the biker gang and returned to New Orleans, seeking roots, but he didn't stay long before taking to the road again, with a different biker group.
1992: Peter, now calling himself CC, met Claude in New York City, and learned how to turn himself invisible... and he learned a lot more about how he could 'read' the powers of others. "My guess is we're all mutants," Claude said. "Those of us with Powers beyond the norm, that is. You copied my Power. I guess that's your Power. That and being able to sense Powers in others, from what you said. You meet enough people, and you'll be able to do lots of things. Question is, what're ya gonna do with 'em?"
"I dunno," Peter said. "Maybe take up superheroing. Or I could try to get rich. I won't hurt people. That's just wrong."
"Well, you have a bit of a temper. You better watch that, Peter."
"Yeah, I know."
After a few months, he went his way again, joining up with another biker group.
Peter has also kept up his jujutsu skills over the years, joining dojos for a time, if only to keep up his skills. They come in handy during tussles with other bikers, dock workers, etc. Some of his friends have been glad to have him on their side because of those skills. It was one of those fights that earned him a grudge hatred from some Hells Angels bikers. "I'll get you some day, boy!" one big guy told him.
2001: After the terrorist attacks, Peter once again returned home for a time. His mom had moved to Dallas when his dad had passed away, and Peter visited her there before returning to New Orleans.
2005: In late summer, Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans and surrounding states. Peter was in California at the time, but he soon made his way back there to help as best he could. He bought a side car and trailer for his bike, loaded them up with cases of water and boxes of foodstuffs and took them with him to the city and surroundings... they went fast, giving them away for free. Peter made several trips, and joined up with some others carrying truckloads of supplies. It was then, during relief efforts, that he met Black Leather of the Sentinals, spent some time with him and learned how his powers work.
After things had calmed down, and the city and state and feds had decided to rebuild New Orleans exactly like before... below sea level... Peter just shook his head and took to wandering again. Eventually, he visited his mom and family in Dallas and then returned to New Orleans again... in 2025. That lasted barely a year before he left again and wandered.
2030:He finally settled near Las Vegas. Having met Julie and fallen in love. He returned to New Orleans in 2030 to settle the home he had owned before which was hurricane damaged.
Julie turned out to be a shape changing villain who used Peter as a trojan horse to take down Sentinal. In the process CC coerced a Federal Judge and was sentenced to life imprisonment in Stronghold

At 74 years old, but looking like a twenty-year-old (more or less), Peter is beginning to think he may never age, but he's not sure yet. He tries to keep his age a secret and has paid records-keepers a couple times to alter his ID, give him a new birth certificate, etc. He has, at times, pretended to be his own son and grandson, but he has not had to push it a lot in the biker world. Occasionally he runs into some 'old' guy who says, "I knew a guy looked just like you... forty years ago." ... to which Peter may reply, "I'm told I look a lot like my dad."

Peter copies powers from others, and he regenerates... even resurrects. Once powers are "learned," he retains and uses them at will, and he can modify the powers that he has. Also, his blood has some very special properties. He is a universal donor and can heal others... even resurrect them. (which he did after he accidentally blew up the Federal Courthouse. Still no-one except perhaps Whiz Kid knows of his healing/resurrecting powers)

Convicted of Coercing a Federal Judge, he was found guilty and sentenced to life in Stronghold. With his powers dampened, his regeneration doesn't work, but his life support, immortal does. His wounds don't heal at abnormal rates. Peter is biding his time, believing he was guilty of at least stupidity and should serve penance, but his life is not the same as what the court intended, necessarily.

1951: Born Peter Adam Leonardo in New Orleans, came into the world in the usual way.
1956: Mom was very glad to send him to kindergarten and get him out of the house.
1957: Began schooling at a local public grade school.
1965: Began high school, public school in New Orleans. Also began self defense classes at a local dojo, training in jujutsu.
1969: Graduated high school, began junior college.
1972: After several years of off-and-on classes, he dropped out of college without a degree and upon discovering that he can detect super powers. He joined up with some bikers and set off to see the nation... and continent, spending some time in Mexico. One of the other bikers taught him spanish. Knowing he might be disliked if he revealed Powers, Peter kept his abilities secret. He took to calling himself CC and spent a dozen years just riding around the country, earning money when and where he could, usually doing odd jobs wherever people would hire him for cash money.
1984: After twelve years, he left the biker gang and returned to New Orleans, seeking roots, but he didn't stay long before taking to the road again, with a different biker group.
1992: Peter, now calling himself CC, met Claude in New York City, and learned how to turn himself invisible... and he learned a lot more about how he could 'read' the powers of others. "My guess is we're all mutants," Claude said. "Those of us with Powers beyond the norm, that is. You copied my Power. I guess that's your Power. That and being able to sense Powers in others, from what you said. You meet enough people, and you'll be able to do lots of things. Question is, what're ya gonna do with 'em?"
"I dunno," Peter said. "Maybe take up superheroing. Or I could try to get rich. I won't hurt people. That's just wrong."
"Well, you have a bit of a temper. You better watch that, Peter."
"Yeah, I know."
After a few months, he went his way again, joining up with another biker group.
Peter has also kept up his jujutsu skills over the years, joining dojos for a time, if only to keep up his skills. They come in handy during tussles with other bikers, dock workers, etc. Some of his friends have been glad to have him on their side because of those skills. It was one of those fights that earned him a grudge hatred from some Hells Angels bikers. "I'll get you some day, boy!" one big guy told him.
2001: After the terrorist attacks, Peter once again returned home for a time. His mom had moved to Dallas when his dad had passed away, and Peter visited her there before returning to New Orleans.
2005: In late summer, Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans and surrounding states. Peter was in California at the time, but he soon made his way back there to help as best he could. He bought a side car and trailer for his bike, loaded them up with cases of water and boxes of foodstuffs and took them with him to the city and surroundings... they went fast, giving them away for free. Peter made several trips, and joined up with some others carrying truckloads of supplies. It was then, during relief efforts, that he met Black Leather of the Sentinals, spent some time with him and learned how his powers work.
After things had calmed down, and the city and state and feds had decided to rebuild New Orleans exactly like before... below sea level... Peter just shook his head and took to wandering again. Eventually, he visited his mom and family in Dallas and then returned to New Orleans again... in 2025. That lasted barely a year before he left again and wandered.
2030:He finally settled near Las Vegas. Having met Julie and fallen in love. He returned to New Orleans in 2030 to settle the home he had owned before which was hurricane damaged.
Julie turned out to be a shape changing villain who used Peter as a trojan horse to take down Sentinal. In the process CC coerced a Federal Judge and was sentenced to life imprisonment in Stronghold

At 74 years old, but looking like a twenty-year-old (more or less), Peter is beginning to think he may never age, but he's not sure yet. He tries to keep his age a secret and has paid records-keepers a couple times to alter his ID, give him a new birth certificate, etc. He has, at times, pretended to be his own son and grandson, but he has not had to push it a lot in the biker world. Occasionally he runs into some 'old' guy who says, "I knew a guy looked just like you... forty years ago." ... to which Peter may reply, "I'm told I look a lot like my dad."

Peter copies powers from others, and he regenerates... even resurrects. Once powers are "learned," he retains and uses them at will, and he can modify the powers that he has. Also, his blood has some very special properties. He is a universal donor and can heal others... even resurrect them. (which he did after he accidentally blew up the Federal Courthouse. Still no-one except perhaps Whiz Kid knows of his healing/resurrecting powers)

Giselle has a pre-ordinate ability to create wonderful food. She loves to experiment with food, learning new styles and experimenting with new raw materials. She has a supremely trained and sensitive palette, able to distinguish spices she has ever had (and knows the name of) in just about any mix of food. She taste tests, picking apart food prepared by others to identify what went into it and how it was made before continuing to eat whatever the dish is. In constructing her as a character, we decided to give her "Detect" as a power, focused on food, spices, combinations. She also has cooking at a high skill level. While not being professionally trained, she has an extreme native ability.

This goes part and parcel with the knowledge of wines, grapes, wine making, and tasting she learned at her father's knee. She can tell region of the country for California wines, and likely soil/grape types for Oregon and Washington wines. She doesn't follow the industry as tightly as she did when home, so years are less a thing and she's knows almost nothing of European or other country's wines. Zeke has suggested she become a Sommelier, but she doesn't think she wants to spend more time in school. She would rather start their family.

Ezekiel looks down at his bride smiling brightly. This gentle creature has been the light of his existence since high school. The two had been together since grade 11 and he is more in love with her with each day. Giselle looks up at him and she smiles brightly and hugs him. They are headed back home to Jamaica for their honeymoon. Giselle has never been there and Ezekiel is eager for her to see where he grew up and to meet the family that she is now a part of. Ezekiel had moved to the California to live with his aunt and uncle and attended a high school there. He then was accepted at Harvard University and went to get his medical degree and now after 8 long years he is now Dr. Ezekiel Mullins cardiac surgeon. Upon finishing his fellowship he has accepts a position at University Medical Centre New Orleans.

The couple had been struggling together to put him through medical school. Giselle had moved from California a year after Ezekiel so the two could be together. Now with the schooling finished and the legal marriage complete they could go to his home and rejoice with the family.

The flight to Jamaica is uneventful. The plane lands smoothly and begins taxing to the terminal. All of a sudden there is a flash of light on the right side of the plane. It begins to veer off the tarmac and shutters. Ezekiel holds tight to Giselle determined to protect her as best he can. Looking out the small window Ezekiel can see costume clad female (howler) grinning then opening her mouth she lets out a loud scream however her scream is like a sonic boom. Ezekiel throws himself over Giselle not sure how it will help but he must protect her. Just as he begins to feel the pain of the sound he places his left hand flat on the window in desperation to hold back to blast. Another costume clad female (witchcraft) comes into view in the same spilt second and throws a protective shield between the blast and the plane however not before some of the blast hits the window where Ezekiel’s hand is. He feels the searing pain in his hand through his wedding band then begin to spread down his arm. The intense ringing in his ears is almost more than he can bear but he refuses to move needing to protect Giselle . In the next split second the shield breaks through the connection and envelopes Ezekiel feeling like his entire body is being stretched beyond normal human limits between the sound and the magic shield. He slowly loses consciousness and becomes unable to move then all is black.

Ezekiel begins to become aware of his surroundings. He is lying on a bed. Things are taped to his arms he still has the horrible tinnitus is almost too much to bear. He can hear people talking but they seem a great distance away. Slowly he opens his eyes and lifts his right hand to shield his eyes from the light. He is in a room, a hospital room. He turns his head a little too quickly and winces as the tinnitus gets a little louder. However when he sees the soft green eyes and rich brown hair of Giselle tears rolling down her cheeks he smiles “hello my beautiful lady, it seems that I have worried you. “

Giselle smiles brightly and says “oh my love you scared us so much” Ezekiel can tell that she is speaking and he hears some of the words but they sound as if she is across the room and whispering.

The next couple of days go by. Ezekiel is getting impatient with the doctors here as they are not giving him the answers he is wanting. His hearing is not improving like he wants it to and he still cannot feel his left hand. It is completely wrapped up so he cannot even assess the damage himself. Giselle hasn’t left his side. His mother and father have come to see him several times in the last few days. All are trying to keep him calm and begging him to rest and let the doctors handle the testing and treatment. Frustrated he begins to go over the event trying to figure out exactly what had happened.
On the third day in hospital Ezekiel gets a visit from the second costume clad female. He sees the nurse talking with her and he tenses remembering the intense agony that coursed through his hand through his body. Lifting his left arm and rubbing the bandages that it is wrapped in. The nurse comes into his room and smiles, “Dr. Mullins. The hero witchcraft would like to speak with you.” Ezekiel looks at her and nods still unsure of what to think. Witchcraft steps into the room she smiles softly and then motions to the chair. “Would it be okay if I sat down?” Ezekiel’s hearing is still not restored to full however at least now it is normal volume just sounds muffled. Subconsciously he lifts his left hand to his chest and rubs it with his right hand. “Please feel free.”

Witchcraft sits and smiles, “ I have come to speak with you in regard to the day you arrived on the flight. In all the chaos that ensued we were not able to speak that night, and those of us who are heroes wanted to speak with you and two others from the flight. We are not sure of all the details but the three of you seemed to have absorbed the sonic/magical energy that was caused with the attack by Howler a known villain who we The Champions now have in custody. We are concerned that the three of you may have some very serious complications due to this absorption of these elements. “. Ezekiel puts up his hand to stop her from continuing. Superheroes, villains, Is he still out cold and dreaming. How could he absorb energy of any kind. He is a human, he is a scientist this is nonsense, he looks at the young woman sitting beside him in disbelief. “ what do you mean by absorbed energy, and what complications? Dammit I am a doctor (Jim not a superhero) and what you are saying makes no sense. “. Witchcraft smiles and nods knowingly, “I understand your confusion and I am sure that you still are not sure what happened. I am going to go but leaving our contact information in case you have any questions or concerns. “. She stands and leaves The Champions’ contact info on his bedside table then turns and leaves the room.

They gather the last of his things and leave the hospital room to head to their new life together in New Orleans

On the third day in hospital Ezekiel gets a visit from the second costume clad female. He sees the nurse talking with her and he tenses remembering the intense agony that coursed through his hand through his body. Lifting his left arm and rubbing the bandages that it is wrapped in. The nurse comes into his room and smiles, “Dr. Mullins. The hero witchcraft would like to speak with you.” Ezekiel looks at her and nods still unsure of what to think. Witchcraft steps into the room she smiles softly and then motions to the chair. “Would it be okay if I sat down?” Ezekiel’s hearing is still not restored to full however at least now it is normal volume just sounds muffled. Subconsciously he lifts his left hand to his chest and rubs it with his right hand. “Please feel free.”

Witchcraft sits and smiles, “ I have come to speak with you in regard to the day you arrived on the flight. In all the chaos that ensued we were not able to speak that night, and those of us who are heroes wanted to speak with you and two others from the flight. We are not sure of all the details but the three of you seemed to have absorbed the sonic/magical energy that was caused with the attack by Howler a known villain who we The Champions now have in custody. We are concerned that the three of you may have some very serious complications due to this absorption of these elements. “. Ezekiel puts up his hand to stop her from continuing. Superheroes, villains, Is he still out cold and dreaming. How could he absorb energy of any kind. He is a human, he is a scientist this is nonsense, he looks at the young woman sitting beside him in disbelief. “ what do you mean by absorbed energy, and what complications? Dammit I am a doctor (Jim not a superhero) and what you are saying makes no sense. “. Witchcraft smiles and nods knowingly, “I understand your confusion and I am sure that you still are not sure what happened. I am going to go but leaving our contact information in case you have any questions or concerns. “. She stands and leaves The Champions’ contact info on his bedside table then turns and leaves the room.

The next four weeks seem to be an eternity for him to heal but his hearing has completely and his left hand has seemed to have recovered from the extreme energy that had run through it. The fingers still a little too swollen to be able to wear his ring again but that should not take too much longer. Giselle steps close and touches his arm and kisses his cheek softly. They gather the last of his things and leave the hospital room to head to their new life together in New Orleans

Fleabyte has fabricated back history, overwritten records to erase history. Over the last few years, she has spent most of her effort tracking and messing with Drug Cartel money transactions. Razeel was orphaned in her early teens from a shanty in the Bayou. She subsisted on charity and the little bit of hunting she had learned. It wasn't her choice. One "odd" thing too many and her daddy pushed her out the door. He was done with dealing with whatever devil it were that controlled her wandering thoughts. She was brought to New Orleans by a stranger, from whom she escaped. She made friends with street kids, and ran with a gang of beggars and thieves. But her "oddities" continued. One of Queen Bianca's minions saw one of her effects and pointed out it was magic. She discovered a knack for reading machines. She studied, learned to hack, studied, learned about security, operating systems, cryptography, everything she could. She migrated into the Darkweb and started operating there. Sometime during this process she discovered she could not only "read" any computer, she could "write" to them too, directly w/o the software. Her personal computer has some odd security measures, traps, tricks, and misdirection's set up for any "normal" that tries to hack it. It will behave almost like an AI defending itself. Her traveling toolkit is all stored on a personalized Pi. She hasn't been in very many fights, mostly just things to get herself out of being mugged, but she learned some defensive moves. She's buried herself in the Darkweb, pitting her skills against the best hackers in the world. She's settled in on tracking Drug money and foiling growth there when she can w/o jeopardizing her own identity. Her primary powers are manipulation of machines, her ability is Magic based. Lodestones help her. Iron hurts her. She can touch it without harm, but if it penetrates her skin, it messes with her powers and she takes damage. She heard stories about Sentinal. She wants a chance to interact with him.

Having served almost a full 90 day probation as a Sentinal, other than for combat, her powers were most often used to find information that someone needed, by bypassing the legal warrant process and breaking into secure servers, thereby breaking the law. Razeel resigned for the good of the team.

Selene grew up in New Orleans, on the streets. At one point she fled to Las Vegas.

In Vegas, she actively attempted to work for a Magician, any Magician to do anything. She spent every spare moment she could learning all that she could. She finally worked her way into kids events, birthday parties, bachelor parties, street magician. While doing that, she figured out, finally, how to control the illusions. She started using them in her shows. She got better gigs. She took on the professional name "Selene".

She got attacked one night, managed to flee, but realized she needed some way to discourage the night life antics she only chose to participate in when she wanted to. She signed into a Dojo and studied hard. She got as far as her brown belt.

She finally got a spot on a stage in an off strip joint two nights a week. She worked on tricks, she analyzed other Magician tricks, she talked to people who constructed tricks. She wormed her way to all the knowledge she could get. She was being shown a small piece of the blueprints for a trick one of the older mechanical wizards had been working on, when she discovered her ability to figure out "any" magic trick. She managed to bite her tongue and keep quiet. The old man never knew she had seen through every one of his designs. That started a new era for her. Working Magician, studying magic and all she could learn about those.

She decided to move home to Louisiana. New Orleans would let her function as a magician. She chose to help the Homeless charities with her first show, both to showcase her skills for the elite in the city and to pay back to the system that allowed her to survive childhood. * Marie LeVeaux, a black woman with a red and white striped head cloth in a colorful outfit of light blue, orange, and yellow. Her outfit is dotted with skulls and other items symbolic of voodoo culture.
* Le Feu Follet, who is covered up to his neck in a spandex-style costume the same shade of blue as the Louisiana state flag, trimmed with lighter blue flames around the wrists and legs and he wears a ringlet mask in the darker blue.
* Loup Garou, a very large sized were-wolf with a massive chest completely covered in fur and the head of a wolf. His arms and legs appear very muscular and his massive hands and feet are tipped in claws. He wears only a pair of dark pants.

==== Biography ====
Razeel was orphaned in her early teens from a shanty in the Bayou. She subsisted on charity and the little bit of hunting she had learned. It wasn't her choice. One "odd" thing too many and her daddy pushed her out the door. He was done with dealing with whatever devil it were that controlled her wandering thoughts. She was brought to New Orleans by a stranger, from whom she escaped. She made friends with street kids, and ran with a gang of beggars and thieves. But her "oddities" continued. One of Queen Bianca's minions saw one of her effects and pointed out it was magic. She discovered a knack for reading machines. She studied, learned to hack, studied, learned about security, operating systems, cryptography, everything she could. She migrated into the Darkweb and started operating there. Sometime during this process she discovered she could not only "read" any computer, she could "write" to them too, directly w/o the software. Her personal computer has some odd security measures, traps, tricks, and misdirection's set up for any "normal" that tries to hack it. It will behave almost like an AI defending itself. Her traveling toolkit is all stored on a personalized Pi. She hasn't been in very many fights, mostly just things to get herself out of being mugged, but she learned some defensive moves. She's buried herself in the Darkweb, pitting her skills against the best hackers in the world. She's settled in on tracking Drug money and foiling growth there when she can w/o jeopardizing her own identity. Her primary powers are manipulation of machines, her ability is Magic based. Lodestones help her. Iron hurts her. She can touch it without harm, but if it penetrates her skin, it messes with her powers and she takes damage. She heard stories about Sentinal. She wants a chance to interact with him.

Having served almost a full 90 day probation as a Sentinal, other than for combat, her powers were most often used to find information that someone needed, by bypassing the legal warrant process and breaking into secure servers, thereby breaking the law. Razeel resigned for the good of the team.

Paola was first introduced as a student in Drew's Chemistry class who started "hitting" on him. It made Drew highly uncomfortable. She is Jewish, her family attends the same temple as his family. Her mother Karen has been trying to get Paola to get "in" with the "in" crowd. One way to do that is to cause Drew grief (since he has caused them grief). Karen encouraged Paola to "hit on" Drew and cause Breaia to break up with him. She starts that process. At the school dance, Paola bemoans being "alone" and not having anyone to dance with. She gets a dance with Drew. However, Breaia and Drew are so friendly, she realizes her mother's "plan" is not just stupid, but mean. She "flips" and becomes friends with Drew's friend group, annoying her mother. Paola's parents are currently getting a divorce. Her mild mannered father is "done" with Karen's manipulative ways, and abusive verbal attacks. He is a very good lawyer, a partner in his own law firm. Ezekiel looks down at his bride smiling brightly. This gentle creature has been the light of his existence since high school. The two had been together since grade 11 and he is more in love with her with each day. Giselle looks up at him and she smiles brightly and hugs him. They are headed back home to Jamaica for their honeymoon. Giselle has never been there and Ezekiel is eager for her to see where he grew up and to meet the family that she is now a part of. Ezekiel had moved to the California to live with his aunt and uncle and attended a high school there. He then was accepted at Harvard University and went to get his medical degree and now after 8 long years he is now Dr. Ezekiel Mullins cardiac surgeon. Upon finishing his fellowship he has accepts a position at University Medical Centre New Orleans.

The couple had been struggling together to put him through medical school. Giselle had moved from California a year after Ezekiel so the two could be together. Now with the schooling finished and the legal marriage complete they could go to his home and rejoice with the family.

The flight to Jamaica is uneventful. The plane lands smoothly and begins taxing to the terminal. All of a sudden there is a flash of light on the right side of the plane. It begins to veer off the tarmac and shutters. Ezekiel holds tight to Giselle determined to protect her as best he can. Looking out the small window Ezekiel can see costume clad female (howler) grinning then opening her mouth she lets out a loud scream however her scream is like a sonic boom. Ezekiel throws himself over Giselle not sure how it will help but he must protect her. Just as he begins to feel the pain of the sound he places his left hand flat on the window in desperation to hold back to blast. Another costume clad female (witchcraft) comes into view in the same spilt second and throws a protective shield between the blast and the plane however not before some of the blast hits the window where Ezekiel’s hand is. He feels the searing pain in his hand through his wedding band then begin to spread down his arm. The intense ringing in his ears is almost more than he can bear but he refuses to move needing to protect Giselle . In the next split second the shield breaks through the connection and envelopes Ezekiel feeling like his entire body is being stretched beyond normal human limits between the sound and the magic shield. He slowly loses consciousness and becomes unable to move then all is black.

Ezekiel begins to become aware of his surroundings. He is lying on a bed. Things are taped to his arms he still has the horrible tinnitus is almost too much to bear. He can hear people talking but they seem a great distance away. Slowly he opens his eyes and lifts his right hand to shield his eyes from the light. He is in a room, a hospital room. He turns his head a little too quickly and winces as the tinnitus gets a little louder. However when he sees the soft green eyes and rich brown hair of Giselle tears rolling down her cheeks he smiles “hello my beautiful lady, it seems that I have worried you. “

Giselle smiles brightly and says “oh my love you scared us so much” Ezekiel can tell that she is speaking and he hears some of the words but they sound as if she is across the room and whispering.

The next couple of days go by. Ezekiel is getting impatient with the doctors here as they are not giving him the answers he is wanting. In all the chaos that ensued we were not able to speak that night, and those of us who are heroes wanted to speak with you and two others from the flight. We are not sure of all the details but the three of you seemed to have absorbed the sonic/magical energy that was caused with the attack by Howler a known villain who we The Champions now have in custody. Ezekiel looks down at his bride smiling brightly. This gentle creature has been the light of his existence since high school. The two had been together since grade 11 and he is more in love with her with each day. Giselle looks up at him and she smiles brightly and hugs him. They are headed back home to Jamaica for their honeymoon. Giselle has never been there and Ezekiel is eager for her to see where he grew up and to meet the family that she is now a part of. Ezekiel had moved to the California to live with his aunt and uncle and attended a high school there. He then was accepted at Harvard University and went to get his medical degree and now after 8 long years he is now Dr. Ezekiel Mullins cardiac surgeon. Upon finishing his fellowship he has accepts a position at University Medical Centre New Orleans.

The couple had been struggling together to put him through medical school. Giselle had moved from California a year after Ezekiel so the two could be together. Now with the schooling finished and the legal marriage complete they could go to his home and rejoice with the family.

The flight to Jamaica is uneventful. The plane lands smoothly and begins taxing to the terminal. All of a sudden there is a flash of light on the right side of the plane. It begins to veer off the tarmac and shutters. Ezekiel holds tight to Giselle determined to protect her as best he can. Looking out the small window Ezekiel can see costume clad female (howler) grinning then opening her mouth she lets out a loud scream however her scream is like a sonic boom. Ezekiel throws himself over Giselle not sure how it will help but he must protect her. Just as he begins to feel the pain of the sound he places his left hand flat on the window in desperation to hold back to blast. Another costume clad female (witchcraft) comes into view in the same spilt second and throws a protective shield between the blast and the plane however not before some of the blast hits the window where Ezekiel’s hand is. He feels the searing pain in his hand through his wedding band then begin to spread down his arm. The intense ringing in his ears is almost more than he can bear but he refuses to move needing to protect Giselle . In the next split second the shield breaks through the connection and envelopes Ezekiel feeling like his entire body is being stretched beyond normal human limits between the sound and the magic shield. He slowly loses consciousness and becomes unable to move then all is black.

Ezekiel begins to become aware of his surroundings. He is lying on a bed. Things are taped to his arms he still has the horrible tinnitus is almost too much to bear. He can hear people talking but they seem a great distance away. Slowly he opens his eyes and lifts his right hand to shield his eyes from the light. He is in a room, a hospital room. He turns his head a little too quickly and winces as the tinnitus gets a little louder. However when he sees the soft green eyes and rich brown hair of Giselle tears rolling down her cheeks he smiles “hello my beautiful lady, it seems that I have worried you. “

Giselle smiles brightly and says “oh my love you scared us so much” Ezekiel can tell that she is speaking and he hears some of the words but they sound as if she is across the room and whispering.

The next couple of days go by. Ezekiel is getting impatient with the doctors here as they are not giving him the answers he is wanting.
