In the early 80's, there was a teen hero named Adamantine who appeared on the scene. Worked with a group of new, mostly teen heroes called Young Justice. In 85, the entire team disappeared after some conflict involving a lot of energy and an explosion out in Hell's Kitchen. After a while, Young Justice was declared MIA and presumed dead. A casual search on the Internet reveals that many onlookers and journalists have declared this Adamantine is the spitting image of the original, leading to several speculations that she is the daughter or granddaughter of the original. She seems to have a similar power set, though far stronger than the original (flight, toughness, super strength). "New Adamantine" only appeared in New York a few months ago. She has done some low level hero work (stopping some muggings, saving people from car accidents, putting out an apartment fire, background panel heroics). She may have stomped on a low level villain or two, but not really done any major work or made a huge name for herself. She hasn't bothered to talk to news crews or anything. One thing that did raise some eyebrows is that she was seen entering the UN, apparently wanting to talk to various dignitaries.
