Scenes from an Alien Invasion

His bearings now fully regained, WK senses a lightness to his body, as if gravity was being lazy today. A voice fills the chamber from all points, it's tone calm, if a bit monotonous. "Whiz Kid, of planet Earth, bear witness to the threat and history of the Vren. We suggest you have a seat as this may be disorienting."

Tsu'Arn

The room immediately floods with red light and the letters "Tsu'Arn" light up in bright white in the front of the chamber.

An image appears on every wall, the ceiling and the floor. Whiz Kid is literally floating in the scene, and it makes I-Max look like his grandma's 8mm film. WK is in a briefing room and appears people are talking, but there is no sound to explain what is happening, so he watches and listens to nothing but silence. He is in the middle of a crowd of several dozen blonde women, and several men, who all appear human. Most every one of them are older, appearing in their mid 50's by his estimation. All of the women are attractive, and all of the men are fit and muscular. There is a woman that everyone appears to be paying attention to who is standing in front of a screen showing a dozen planets, most of which have a giant red 'V' drawn over the planet. She uses a pointing stick to draw attention to the one planet that does not have the giant red V over it with the word "Tsu'Arn" above it, and right after, the screen behind her changes. It shows crystalline looking humanoid shaped beings in high numbers across a metallic city-scape backdrop being shattered by four flying blonde women, who are destroying them in mass quantities every moment that goes by. Not a single crystalline being has a weapon or appears to pose a threat to these flying women. The scene shifts several times, and in each scene, it's always the same: these crystalline beings, in the city, in the dessert, in the fields, and in homes, shattered, all left as jagged and scattered as a dropped as easily as a Pyrex bowl would be in a kitchen. Those images stop and the first image returns, but the planet that was being pointed to now have a big red X through it and the words, which are translated to English "Tsu'Arn Acceptance: Refused" appear below it.

Now the scene shifts completely, and it appears to be a first person perspective of someone running through an industrial looking city. The architecture and sky appears very similar to the scenes that were just shown. The sounds of harmonic ringing, not like a bell, but more like someone was playing the rim of a crystal goblet, and glass breaking are causing a near-constant aural buzz. The runner turns a corner, and keeps running, but the ground under their feet is nothing but shattered crystal, which makes a glass-on-glass crunching sounds as the runner continues running quickly. The camera looks around, checking side to side, up, and behind themselves in a hurry, the view shifting within the entire room causing disorientation with the shaking visages of panic to add to the aural intrusion of constant nearby destruction. The scene goes through an open plaza, and the viewer looks to their right to scan the plaza. Three blonde women, carrying large metal pillars that must weigh multiple tons, are smashing anything and everything in their path, including the inhabitants of the planet. A sound of ringing comes out of runner as they keep running and looking back trying to get away. The runner starts to look forward-facing again, and as they finally look forward, they come face to face with a blonde woman floating in the air directly in front of them. The runner stops and the scene starts to turn skyward, but not before the woman smashes right through the runner, shattering them with a horrific glass-breaking sound and making the whole room feel as though it had just been run through before completely fading to black.

Dhogin

The room re-lights with red light and the word "Dhogin" lights up in bright white in the front of the chamber.

The word fades and "Day 1" appears and then the scene shifts to a large chamber with lots of desks facing a platform containing eight desks and a large podium. It appears to be much like the American Senate house, and it is decorated in deep shades of purple, and white. Looking around this chamber, it is filled with beings who have large heads shaped like a rounded off mallet, and whose skin tones are all varying shades of purple. At four of the eight desks sit four blonde-haired, Vren woman in blue and gold uniforms, all other desks are occupied by Dhogins. The focus in the room jumps from overhead to a tight frame on the front podium, with all the assembly shown in the back of the chamber. There is a general commotion all around as the sounds of conversations overlap into a blur. A sharp, loud rapping sound from the podium quiets the room to silence in an instant. The being at the podium begins speaking in a deep, authoritative voice "Today, we have done what must to ensure the future of our children, and the future of our children’s children. Today, we have joined the Vren Empire. In turn they have insured our prosperity and our survival. They will share their technology and medical advances. There will be no poverty. There will be no hunger. Dhogin will thrive in a new golden age, unlike any we have seen in civilized history." The sound of thunderous applause fills the room and the Vren women stand at their desks and clap along with everyone else, their smiles angelic and their eyes kind.

The scene fades to black and the word "Year 10" lights up in bright white in the front of the chamber and the scene shifts to a small room with a Dhogin sitting in a comfortable looking chair. Their clothes are nice, and the colors rich and vibrant. From the back of the chamber, a voice filled with lightness asks, "Any regrets about joining the Vren Empire?" The Dhogin seated in the chair leans forward and nods quickly and speaks with an assured tone "Only that we did not do it sooner. In just ten short years, there is no disease, no hunger, and every man, woman, and child is hard at work building a better future. The Vren have even put an end to crime and have dealt with those who would think of committing it." He leans back into his chair and finishes "It truly has become the perfect society."

The scene fades to black and the word "Year 25" lights up in bright white in the front of the chamber and the scene shifts to a large crater in the ground filled with large industrial machines that appear to be harvesting resources. A Dhogin runs into the picture with a large rock in his hand and looks straight into the viewer "It's happened. The very last trace of Docite has been mined. Vren Command will have our machines moved so we can work to gather the remaining Vindiat and Gindilite reserves. At this rate, we'll have finished mining all the valuable resources in the next ten years." The Dhogin seems unphased by the words he is saying - perhaps this is a good thing?

The scene fades to black and the word "Year 50" lights up in bright white in the front of the chamber and the scene shifts to the Senate-like chamber, but it's very different now. Instead of the purple and white decorations, the entire room is in a deep blue with gold and red accents. At most of the desks sit Vren women, and a few men, and even fewer Dhogins. There is not a single Dhogin sitting at the eight desks at the front of the room, and as the view shifts close to the podium, a middle-aged woman with blonde hair and streaks of silver comes sharply into focus. "The loyalty and complacency of the Dhogin people was never in question. The Vren Empire has been strengthened by their addition, but the time has come for the Vren to return the rule of their planet back to their world leaders. Effective immediately, all Vren personnel and technology will be moved to join the Vren fleet in orbit. For the Vren!" she ends her speech, her fist in the air as the room erupts in applause.

The scene fades to black and the word "Year 51" lights up in bright white in the front of the chamber and the scene shifts to an arid plain with several Dhogins trying to work the soil, which is nothing but sand. It shifts to a large auditorium where the bodies of hundreds of Dhogin are lined up in rows. It shifts to a facility with large machinery that sits silent. It shifts to a vessel on the water with nets and shows the nets keep coming up empty. It finally fades to blackness with the final words in a bright white light illuminating the chamber

"The Dhogin people went extinct less than two years after the Vren left the planet, having taken all the minerals and resources of the planet in under fifty years. The Dhogin were left to live on a barren, infertile planet incapable of supporting life."

Finale

The room re-lights with red light and the word "Meillod" lights up in bright white in the front of the chamber.

This is a short scene, shot in space, a blue and brown planet visible. The camera tightens in a bit to see eight blonde women flying at incredible speed toward the planet. The camera follows them as long as it can - it appears they are on a collision course with the planet and show no signs of stopping. The camera backs off to a distance again and the playback seems to speed up here and the planet shakes in space, and wobbles and large cracks form. Moments later those same eight blonde women are seen exiting the surface of the planet clear on the other side as the planet splits violently into hundreds of thousands of pieces that begin hurtling away from the center.

The word "Cruncait" appears and the same scene that was just shown repeats slightly faster. Then "Veccid", and "Bef'il" and it's at this point that names of planets appear and the same scene repeats, faster each time until it becomes a blur of names and exploding planets shown one right after the other. They come so fast and end so violently and quickly until finally it comes to an end and the room is just dark.

After what feels like forever, the room relights into a plain white room. "Whiz Kid, of planet Earth, the Vren can end your planet quickly, or they can end it slowly. Galaxy United has seen what they can do and are pledged to protecting the peaceful planets of the galaxy."
